A Manassas woman died Saturday when she struck a median while passing at a high rate of speed, authorities said, and hit an SUV.
MANASSAS, VA — A Manassas woman died Saturday when she struck a median while passing at a high rate of speed, authorities said, and hit another SUV, injuring three people.
The crash happened shortly before 3 p.m. near Sudley Road and Campus Drive in Manassas, according to Prince William County police.
A 2019 Toyota Camry was northbound on Sudley Road at a high rate of speed while passing a vehicle, police said in a news release. The Camry struck a concrete median and then veered into oncoming traffic, striking a 2017 Honda CRV head-on.

The driver of the Camry — identified as Susan Minor, 74, of Manassas — was pronounced dead at an area hospital, authorities said Sunday.
The driver of the CRV was a 63-year-old Manassas man whose name has not been released. He and two passengers — a 19-year-old woman and a 23-year old woman, both of Manassas — were taken to area hospitals with serious injuries.
