MD Men Stole Catalytic Convertors From Manassas Business: Police
A pair of Maryland men face several charges after authorities said they stole catalytic convertors from the Manassas Alban Tractor dealer.

MANASSAS, VA — A pair of Maryland men stole catalytic convertors from a Manassas business on Wednesday morning, the Prince William County Police Department said.
Authorities identified the men as 18-year-old Cristian Ramirez Canales and 33-year-old Male Figueroa. Both men are charged with five counts of felony tampering with a catalytic converter and one count of possession of burglarious tools.
If convicted of all charges, the men could face up to 35 years in prison, based on Virginia's sentencing guidelines.

Ramirez Canales and Figueroa are both being held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center. Their court dates are pending and their bond is listed as unavailable.
Around 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday, the owner of Alban Tractor in Manassas called police when he saw something suspicious on his surveillance cameras. When police officers arrived on the scene, they found Figueroa and Ramirez Canales, according to the police report.

Investigators determined that the two men entered the Alban Tractors lot and took catalytic converters from several vehicles, authorities said.
Police officers obtained a search warrant for the suspect's vehicle. During the search, officers said they found evidence tying the suspects to the thefts.
