Merchants View Square Giant Food to Unveil Store Updates at Ribbon Cutting Friday; Haymarket store celebrates renovation with June 20th events and activities

What: Grand
Re-Opening, ribbon cutting ceremony, and local food pantry donation at the
Merchants View Square Giant Food in Haymarket, Virginia.

Between June 20th and
June 22nd, the Merchants View Square Giant Food will provide a
tasting passport to all customers during special event hours (Friday from 3 to
7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.), encouraging them to
explore the changes throughout the store. A completed passport gives customers

the opportunity to win free groceries for a month.

Over the next
four weekends, Merchants View Square Giant customers will enjoy tastings, live
music, kids entertainment, and more.

In honor of
the occasion, Giant will make a significant donation to the Haymarket Regional
Food Pantry, a local organization making a big difference in the
community, during Friday’s Grand Reopening Celebration.

    full line of Giant Nature’s Promise products, including a new frozen and dairy
    section. 
  • Brand new beer and wine department, including a

    variety of craft and specialty beers.
  • Redesigned produce department featuring the freshest
    fruits and vegetables.
  • New produce area featuring refrigerated and
    seasonal offerings.
  • In-store PNC Bank for customer convenience. 
  • Continued use of in-store technologies including
    “ORDER IT!” deli kiosks, where customers can digitally place deli orders and
    continue shopping. When order is ready for pick-up, customers receive an alert. 
  • Giant Pharmacy, where customers can continue to
    save by using the new Giant Prescription Savings Card.
