For the rest of March and through April, Manassas Museum promises to keep you and your family busy with events. Got guests? Bring them, too!

Who knew Manassas Museum had so many cool things to do? Check out these upcoming happenings. History, art, walking tours and more are all waiting for you to explore. Oh, and if you're superstitious, March 24 seems to be a lucky day, with three events scheduled.
New in town? The museum is located at 9101 Prince William Street. Historic site grounds are open dawn til dusk.

Manassas Museum Honors Women's History Month
Join us for a presentation by living historian Lynne Garvey-Hodge as Mrs. Robert Walker, a D.C. area suffragist who was arrested and imprisoned at the Occoquan Workhouse for demonstrating outside the White House. Hear Mrs. Walker's reflections on her work as a suffragist, as well as her personal life and role in Baltimore's exclusive "Blue Book" society.

Great American Cleanup Day
The Great American Cleanup is the country's largest community improvement program that kicks off in more than 20,000 communities each Spring. Meet at Manassas Museum, and bring gloves.

Growing Roots: A Prince William County/Manassas History Symposium
Join historians at the Old Manassas Courthouse for talks on the county's early settlement and later development; the Battle of Buckland; the Civil War home front; Prince William Forest Park; and Robert Portner. Learn about Manassas' origins with a costumed interpreter-led tour through Historic Downtown. Wear comfortable shoes.
Please note: June 2 - September 1 Beat the Heat tours will be held indoors at the museum.

New Exhibit: Expanding Boundaries
This exhibit looks at the impact the Manassas Boys and Girls Club has on our community and the children it serves. Through its focus on academic success, good character and citizenship, and promoting healthy lifestyles, the Club fulfills its mission to help boys and girls of all backgrounds, especially those who need them most, acquire the skills needed to become productive, civic-minded, responsible adults.

New Exhibit: Living the American Dream: Robert Portner, Immigrant, Entrepreneur, Philanthropist
Guest Curator Michael Gaines examines the life of Alexandria brewer and Manassas summer resident Robert Portner and his impact on Manassas.
