The Nutcracker Begins Run Thursday in Manassas

MANASSAS, VA — They're tunes that once you think about them and register it, they're hard to get out of your head, but it's nonetheless a holiday staple.

We're talking about Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker.

And it's holiday run begins Thursday at the Hylton Performing Arts Center, 10960 George Mason Circle.

Presented by the Manassas Ballet Theatre and the Manassas Ballet Theatre Orchestra, the performance will have several runs through Dec. 21.

The schedule:

Matinee Performances: 3 p.m., Dec. 17, 18, 22, 23
Evening Performances, 7:30 p.m., Dec. 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21.
