OHS Marching Band to Compete in Fall Classic

The Osbourn High School Marching Band will perform in the third annual Marching Band Fall Classic this weekend at Manassas Park High School.

The Osbourn High School Marching Band will perform in the third annual Marching Band Fall Classic this weekend.

According to OHS Band Boosters President Melinda Thacker, the group of talented and dedicated students hasn't had the chance to demonstrate their skills this season due to all the rain.

"Our show is really good, I just wish more people could see it," said OHS Marching Band member Anna Spall.

Manassas Park High School's third annual Marching Band Fall Classic is taking place this Saturday, Oct. 8, and if you'd like to see the Osbourn High School Screaming Eagles, they will perform at 3:15. There will also be a Drumline Show at 7:05. The  Awards Ceremony will be heldp at 7:30. 

The OHS Screaming Eagles Band is comprised of approximately 60 students from Metz and OHS, ranging from Grades 7-12 with a full Color Guard Routine and Drumline Show.

"It's truly a special group of talented Metz and OHS students who love their city and represent that pride through a wonderfully choreographed performance," Thacker added.

Entry fee is $7. Food and drinks are also available to purchase.

The weather is expected to be sunny with temperatures in the mid-70s, so be sure to come out to participate in the "best small town pride has to offer."
