Okra's Cajun Creole to Expand from Manassas to Gainesville

The new restaurant will be at Virginia Oaks Golf Club, and is scheduled to open in the spring of 2017.

GAINESVILLE, VA — An expansion that's been in the works for months is now official: Okra's Cajun Creole, a popular restaurant in downtown Manassas, will have a second carnation this coming spring.

This one, to be called Okra's Bistro, will open at Virginia Oaks Golf Club, 7950 Virginia Oaks Drive.

Applications for employment already are being accepted.

Okra's announced the news on its Facebook page, and said it will be serving lunch and dinner daily.

Virginia Oaks is posited along the Manassas River, and has been promoting the opening for quite a while.

Okra's has been in Manassas since 1998, and the new menu pretty much will be the same as the present menu.
