10-Year-Old Tortured, Parents Charged In Nokesville (ICYMI)

Two parents tortured their 10-year-old son by making him burn his hands on a hot stove, among other things, in Nokesville: PWC Police

NOKESVILLE, VA — Two parents tortured their 10-year-old son by making him burn his hands on a hot stove and kneel on sharp objects for extended periods of time in the 12800 block of LeMaster Drive, according to Prince William County Police. Walter Enrique Flores-Chiquillo, 35, and Barbara Margarita Ramirez Del Cid, 28, both of the aforementioned address, were arrested Wednesday and charged with felony child abuse. They're being held without bond, and additional charges are pending.

Shortly after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 12700 block of Aden Road for a reported case of found child. They found the boy had knocked on the front door of the home and asked for food. He appeared to be suffering from injuries, and his clothes were dirty and in disrepair. (For more local news, click here to sign up for real-time news alerts. Officers found that the boy had walked away from his residence. He was placed into protective custody with Child Protective Services and taken to a local hospital. Following the investigation, the parents were arrested. Police executed a search warrant at the residence, and evidence of the offense was collected.
