Emergency Coordinator-Planner for the City of Manassas updates the community on the damage sustained from last week's F1 tornado and shares images of the aftermath.

According to Deputy Emergency Coordinator-Planner for the City of Manassas Fire and Rescue Department's Emergency Management Division Robert Halsall, the primary damage sustained by the tornado that struck the area one week ago occurred to the roof of a warehouse structure on Wakeman Court in Manassas.

The warehouse sits parallel to the Manassas Regional Airport, which did not sustain any damage, Halsall said.

Information from the National Weather Service concludes the tornado's debris field stretched for about a quarter mile, east from the warehouse that sustained damage.
