Plane Crashes At Manassas Regional Airport, No Injuries Reported

MANASSAS, VA — A plane crashed and overturned Sunday night at the Manassas Regional Airport, according to Virginia State Police.

State police had responded to the plane crash around 8:15 p.m. Sunday. The single-engine Cessna had been on the runway and ran off to the side. The plane struck a culvert before overturning.

A pilot and one passenger were on board the plane. Neither was injured.

State police notified the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board about the crash. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
