Police Searching for Bank Robber in Manassas

MANASSAS -- Officers are searching for the suspect in a bank robbery Monday afternoon, according to Manassas Police.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20s, with a thin build. He was wearing a blue hoodie sweatshirt with a Nike logo, khaki pants and black shoes.

At 12:50 p.m., the suspect reportedly entered the TD Bank at 8401 Digges Road and demanded money from the teller.

He left with an undisclosed amount of money, fleeing on foot toward the area of Bruton Parish and Plantation Lane.

He is still at-large, according to police, and traffic patterns may be temporarily disrupted in order for police to maintain a perimeter.
