Police: Manassas Man Found Dead on D.C. Street

Police in Washington, D.C., are investigating the shooting death of a 25-year-old Manassas man on Sunday.

Officers responded at about 9 a.m. to a report of the discovery of an unconscious man suffering from gunshot wounds in the unit block of Galveston Place SW. They found the body of Rodney Delonte Davis, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

His remains were transported to the Distirct of Columbia’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, where an autopsy was scheduled.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District.
