Police: Patient Assaulted at Medical Clinic
Officers arrested the staff member at the facility on Friday after a 2-month investigation, according to Prince William County Police.

MANASSAS, VA -- A staff member is accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a Manassas medical clinic, according to Prince William County Police.
Thomas A. Purcell, Jr., 42, of 6913 Traditions Trial, Manassas, is being held without bond on a charge of aggravated sexual battery.
For two months, detectives have been investigating a June 2014 incident at the Carient Heart and Vascular Medical Clinic at 8100 Ashton Avenue, according to a PWCPD report released on Monday.

The investigation revealed that the victim, a 71-year-old woman of Manassas, was undergoing a medical exam when she was sexually assaulted by Purcell, identified as a staff member.
Purcell was arrested on Friday at the medical clinic without incident.
