Police: Teens Assault Man, Steal Wallet

Investigators are looking for two subjects in a robbery Sunday night, according to Manassas City Police.

At 11:23 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to the Giant Food at 10100 Dumfries Road regarding a robbery.

The victim, 52, told police that he was sitting in front of the grocery store when two men in their late teens approached him from behind and struck him several times in the face and head, according to a MCPD release.

The two suspects fled with the victim’s wallet on foot toward the intersection of Wellington Road and Hampton Road.

The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
