Prince William, Manassas Schools Decide On Classes For Feb. 23
The incoming snowstorm has prompted the Manassas and Prince William Public Schools to change how classes will operate on Monday, Feb. 23.
MANASSAS, VA — As rains shifts to snow, Manassas City Public Schools and Prince William County Public Schools have both announced a two-hour delay in classes on Monday, Feb. 23.
Due to the impending inclement weather, all Prince William County Public Schools will open two hours late on Monday. More information is on the district website.
Weather conditions will be monitored overnight. If conditions necessitate a closure, the district will notify families and staff no later than 7 a.m.

All Manassas City Public Schools and offices will operate on a two-hour delay on Monday. There will be no Pre-K classes. AlphaBEST will open at 8:30 a.m. We will continue to monitor weather and road conditions and will share any additional updates with families and staff if needed.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory until 10 a.m. Monday for Fairfax, Arlington, Falls Church, Alexandria, Prince William, Manassas and Manassas Park. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches with localized amounts around 5 inches are predicted.
