VIDEO: Great White Shark Snatches Boy's Fish Off Cape Cod
"It's not letting me pull the line," the boy says before the shark appears above water. Hollywood couldn't have scripted it better.
MONOMOY ISLAND, MA – A boy fishing off the coast of Cape Cod didn't realize a thief was lurking just below the surface. A video shared by the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy on Monday shows the boy reeling in a striper that's giving him some trouble.
"It's not letting me pull the line," he can be heard saying. Then, like a scene out of a movie, a great white shark suddenly breaches the surface and snatches the fish right off his line.
"Great video of a white shark breaching as it goes after a striper at the end of a line off Stone Horse Shoals!" the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy wrote.
