Saturday at the Park Will Bring Child Explorers to Manassas Battlefield
Event Saturday, Oct. 11 will include bird watching, trail hikes, water quality tests and more for hands-on discovery.

Saturday at the Park is a hands-on discovery and exploration event at Manassas National Battlefield Park. Activities will include bird watching, nature journaling, TRACK trail hikes, dip netting to investigate what lives in the water, and water chemistry testing to determine water quality.
- On: Saturday, October 11, from 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
- At: the Brownsville Picnic Area off of Groveton Road in Manassas
- Bring: Bottled water, bug spray and old shoes that can get muddy
This event is made possible by a $6,000 National Park Service Cost Share Grant and is sponsored by: The National Park Service, SPARK, and the PWCS Office of Student Learning.
