Shining Sol Candle Company Coming to Manassas

MANASSAS, VA — Visitors to the downtown area soon will be regaled with quite an array of soothing, eclectic candles, some of which surely will appeal to heavy metal rock fans.

The Shining Sol Candle Company will have its grand opening Sept. 30 in the spot adjacent to Love, Charlie, at 9109 Center Street, according to city officials.

The candles are described as hand-poured with wooden wicks, made from all-natural soy and crafted "in true artisan fashion."

But the Shining Sol Candle Company also has officially licensed candles featuring such bands as KISS, Def Leppard and Twisted Sister, among others.
