Shooting Reported At Manassas Park 7-Eleven, Suspect Vehicle Sought: Police

A shooting was reported on Saturday in Manassas Park. No injuries were reported, and authorities are working to identify a suspect.

MANASSAS PARK, VA — A shooting was reported in the City of Manassas Park on Saturday night, according to the Manassas Park Police Department. No injuries were reported in the incident, and authorities are still looking for a suspect.

Around 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, authorities received multiple 911 calls reporting that shots were fired near the intersection of Manassas Drive and Andrew Drive.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found several spent shell casings in the roadway on Manassas Drive. Casings were also found in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven, located at 9101 Andrew Drive.

"Detectives are looking for a dark gray / charcoal colored SUV that was occupied by a black male with shoulder length dreads, wearing a orange colored shirt," the police department said in an update posted to Facebook. "The vehicle was last seen heading westbound on Manassas Drive from Andrew Drive."

Authorities are also asking for assistance from anyone who may have recorded the incident. "We are also asking residents in the area to check their surveillance cameras to see if they captured any part of the above mentioned events," the police department said. "If you can hear the commotion, but don’t capture anything on video, we would like that information as well."
