Spilled Ink VA will celebrate its fifth anniversary this Friday, January 25th, 2019 at Jirani Coffeehouse in Manassas.

Spilled Ink VA will celebrate its five-year anniversary this Friday, January 25th, 2019. The event will take place at Jirani Coffeehouse in Manassas at 7 p.m. and feature writers, authors and poets.
Host of Spilled Ink VA, John Dutton, said it is going to be a special night, especially because Jirani now has all their events televised. Ken Moorman, owner of Jirani, stated that Spilled Ink will be televised beginning this month at the five-year anniversary event. If you can’t make it out, you can watch the event live on the Jirani website, Moorman said.
Dutton said he will be using the the audio track of the telecast as a podcast and that the Washington Post will also be sending a photographer as part of an article being written about the local poetry scene.
