Stabbing Suspect Arrested In Woodbridge Assault

A Woodbridge man was charged Tuesday with two felonies after a confrontation in August left a man suffering from multiple stab wounds.

MANASSAS, VA — A Woodbridge man is charged with two felonies after a confrontation in August left a 46-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds, according to Prince William County police.

On March 17, detectives arrested Adrian Jamarr Kidwell, 48, on charged from the aggravated assault that occurred Aug. 7, 2025, in the 13200 block of Nickelson Drive in Woodbridge.

Investigators said Kidwell was an acquaintance of the victim and arrived at the man’s residence that morning. The victim opened the door to speak with Kidwell and a struggle ensued. Police said Kidwell stabbed the victim multiple times before fleeing.

When police arrived at the crime scene, the residence was empty. The injured man arrived at an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Detectives obtained multiple arrest warrants for Kidwell, who was arrested on March 17 near his home in Woodbridge.

Kidwell is charged with aggravated malicious wounding and stabbing in commission of a felony. He is being held without bond.
