Surveillance Cam Catches Burglar Red-Handed In Manassas: Police
An in-home surveillance camera helped authorities catch a burglar red-handed in Manassas, according to Prince William County Police.

MANASSAS, VA—You may have heard about those in-home surveillance cameras that can alert you if an intrusion triggers an alert on your cell phone. Well, here's an incident involving such technology that occurred Wednesday in the 10000 block of 7th Regiment Drive, according to Manassas City Police.
Shortly after 1:30 p.m., police went to the residence for a reported burglary in progress. A man was alerted to the burglary by a notification from his in-home surveillance camera. He then was able to give officers a description of the suspect.
When police arrived, going by the description, the burglar was found nearby. He was caught red-handed with items stolen from the residence. Justin Marroquin, 23, of Manassas, was charged with burglary and grand larceny. Police say more charges are pending.
