Swedish Development Giant To Build US Headquarters In This NoVA Innovation District
Sandberg Development is expanding its presence in Prince William County at the region's new innovation district.
MANASSAS, VA – A Swedish investment company will build its new U.S. headquarters in Prince William County’s new innovation hub, according to a release from the Nexus234 Innovation District.
Swedish company Sandberg Development Inc. will set up shop at 9349 Hornbaker Road in Manassas at the county’s innovation district, which launched in April. The headquarters will also include an advanced manufacturing facility, according to the release.
A $1.6 million grant from the county’s Economic Development Opportunity Fund will sweeten the deal. The company will also spend $14.3 million to acquire 11 acres of property owned by the county.

Nexus234 says the new headquarters will create 32 new full-time jobs with average salaries above $115,00 per year.
Sandberg Development currently operates four companies in Prince William County, generating $100 million in U.S. sales, the company says. One of the companies moving into the new facility will be Aimpoint, which manufactures sighting systems. Construction Data reports that Sandberg Development has owned Aimpoint since the company was founded in 1975, and Aimpoint established its U.S. headquarters in Prince William County in 2016.
