Traffic Alert: I-66 East Closed Due to Tractor-Trailer Crash

Traffic was backed up two miles at 9 a.m. Friday due to a tractor trailer crash that closed a stretch of Interstate 66 heading east near the Fauquier/Prince William County line.

The Virginia Department of Transportation has established a detour that will direct eastbound motorists off I-66 at exit 31 and onto Route 245, Old Tavern Road, heading north to Route 55, John Marshall Highway, to the I-66 interchange at Haymarket.
