A tradition dating back 17 years, the summer Twilight Polo series at Great Meadow is a fantastic getaway for the whole family.

Besides two live polo matches, the event is jam-packed full of activities for everyone.
Great Meadow's mascot, Polo the bear will be passing out candy and goodies to the children. At halftime, Polo and some of the polo players will join eventgoers for a friendly game of play tug-of-war and sack and stick pony races in the field.

The evening's theme is "Girl's Night Out: Pretty in Pink", so be sure decorate your tailgate and you could win an awesome prize as Salon Emage in Warrenton will be picking a few lucky ladies out of the crowd for an onsite extreme makeover.
Events, including an Amateur match, begin at 7 p.m. and gates open at 6:30 p.m.
Each quarter, or "chukker" as they are know in polo are 12 minutes long with an entire match lasting around an hour and a half.
The professional matches will end 10pm, but the night is not over.
Grab your dancing shoes and head on down to the Pavilion where DJ S-So will be spinning out tunes for everyone to enjoy.
Pricing: $30 per car, $10 by yourself. Food available onsite by Boss Hawg BBQ as well as wine from Barrel Oak Winery, or pack your own picnic.
You are allowed to bring your own food and adult beverages if you prefer, but keep the glass to a minimum.
