Two Arrested on Charges of Assault by Mob, Armed Robbery in Manassas
Police arrested the remaining two of four suspects Wednesday in an October incident.

Members of the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force arrested two people Wednesday, Nov. 5 at a hotel in Rockville, Md. They are thought to be involved in an armed robbery on Oct. 6.
Richard Jong Chang Pak, 23 of Centreville, and Kelly Dawn Saunders, 20 of Manassas, have been charged with robbery and assault by mob.
Police officers responded to a reported assault in the 11800 Medway Church Loop in Manassas on Oct. 6 at around 3:23 p.m.

An 18-year-old Manassas man reported the incident, saying a group of four men approached and assaulted him using blunt objects when he was meeting a female acquaintance. The assailants took his cell phone and money and fled the area.
Detectives from the robbery unit were able to identify four suspects and arrested two between Oct. 8 and 9.

Pak and Saunders were the only remaining suspects in the assault. They are both awaiting extradition.
