UFC Legend leads Wrestling, Self Defense and MMA camps in Manassas
Pro wrestler Dan Severn is teaching several camps and seminars this summer with three-time Virginia State champion and new wrestling coach for the Stonewall Jackson Raiders, Tim Tibbs.

Dan Severn entered the cage for his first “No Holds Barred” match over a decade and a half ago at Ultimate Fighting Championship 4, and went on to win two tournaments and a super fight championship.
Mike Chapman, the curator of the Wrestling Museum and Hall
of Fame, said when Severn was inducted, “In one night, Dan Severn took the sport of wrestling and turned it into a martial art.” He’s been in over 100 MMA matches and was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2005.
A four time All-American out of Arizona, Dan pioneered wrestling as a base for mixed martial arts and has been competing and training other fighters including UFC champions for over a decade.
This July, Dan brings his years of wrestling and fighting experience to Manassas, teaching several camps and seminars with three-time Virginia State champion and Manassas Park wrestling alumni, Tim Tibbs. Tim has recently been named the new wrestling coach for the Stonewall Jackson Raiders.
All programs will be held at Stonewall Jackson High School, 8820 Rixlew Lane Manassas, Virginia, and a portion of the funds will benefit the Stonewall Jackson Wrestling team.
