MANASSAS, VA — Manassas Mall's makeover continues, and this time it's the grand opening Aug. 23 of Uptown Alley, ostensibly a bowling alley — but it's much more than that.

According to a release, the $11.5 million, 46,000 square foot entertainment and restaurant venue features 24 high-tech bowling lanes and a professional sound stage for live entertainment.

No wonder TMG managing partner Michael Auger expresses excitement.

“Our goal, he said, has always been to make the Uptown Alley brand the best indoor entertainment experience available anywhere, offering something for everyone to enjoy, from live music to our great chef-created cuisine, for the community and visitors alike.”

It's part of the mall's ongoing plan to attract high-quality tenants and refurbish its look, and the plan appears to be well on its way to successful implementation.
