Vehicle Drives Onto Train Tracks In Manassas, No Injuries Reported

MANASSAS, VA — A case of a vehicle stuck on the train tracks in Manassas prompted a temporary halt to train traffic Sunday night.

The incident happened on the train tracks near Godwin Drive and Wellington Road, which is near the Manassas City and Prince William County border. Prince William County Police said a vehicle drove onto the tracks, causing a train to stop. There were no injuries reported.

Trains were stopped in the area due to the vehicle. Roads were clear about an hour after the incident.
