Waxy's Irish Bar Coming Soon to Manassas Mall

MANASSAS, VA — Perhaps what could best be described as an Irish pub on steroids is scheduled to open in Manassas Mall in the spring of 2017, according to a mall representative.

Quaint, it ain't.

Say hello to Waxy's, a restaurant that bills itself as a "modern Irish bar."

It has an expansive menu, crafted cocktails and, of course, a wide selection of beer.

Wide-screen TVs will be prominently featured, as will pool tables.

The restaurant's pitch: "There’s both an art and a craft to creating a great Irish bar. It’s very difficult to define that “something special” that you experience when you walk in the door of your local Waxy’s. Whether you are in for a quiet drink and a chat or a big night out, you can be sure of one thing, a warm welcome, a unique experience and lots of fun."
