The Independence Day holiday falls on Monday, July 4, which means some services will be closed for a three-day weekend. Prince William County government offices will be closed on July 4, and other services will have schedule changes.

  • Prince William County government offices: Closed on July 4.
  • City of Manassas government offices: Closed on July 4.
  • Prince William County courts: Closed on July 4.
  • Prince William Public Libraries: Closed from July 2 to July 4.
  • Prince William County schools: All schools and administrative offices closed on July 4.
  • Prince William County landfill: Closed on July 4.
  • DMV offices: Closed on July 4.
  • OmniRide: Buses will not operate on July 4.
  • VRE: There will be no VRE service on July 4.
  • Metro: Metro will run on a Sunday holiday schedule on July 4. Metro has closed five Orange Line stations between Stadium-Armory and New Carrollton through Labor Day.
