Winning Powerball Ticket Sold In Manassas
Someone bought the winning ticket for last Saturday's Virginia Lottery Powerball drawing. Purchased in Manassas, it's worth $1 million.

MANASSAS, VA — Someone walked into the In & Out Mart, 9103 Mathis Avenue, and bought a ticket for last Saturday's Powerball drawing. Said ticket is now worth $1 million, and said someone has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim the prize, according to the Virginia Lottery.
The winning numbers were 8-10-29-40-59, with a Powerball number of 26. The ticket matched all the numbers except for the Powerball number. Lottery officials say whoever bought the ticket should immediately sign the back "to establish ownership."

The In & Out Mart will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. The odds of winning the $1 million prize were 1 in 11,688,054. Inasmuch that no ticket matched all six numbers, the jackpot for Wednesday's drawing has grown to around $155 million.
