Sexual Assault Suspect Wanted After Woman Attacked In Manassas Area: Police

MANASSAS, VA — A suspect is wanted in the sexual assault of a woman walking at night late Friday into Saturday, Prince William County Police say.

The assault happened between 11:30 p.m. on Friday and 12:30 a.m. on April 20 around Fairmont Avenue and Anvil Drive in the West Gate neighborhood. Police say a 35-year-old woman was walking when an unknown man grabbed her. The man forced her into a wooded area and sexually assaulted her.

Once the victim was able to leave, she contacted police. The suspect was described as a Hispanic or Asian man with a slim build and short spiked hair wearing a black sweatshirt and hood.
