Woman Shot Family Member In Manassas On Tuesday Night: Police
A woman was arrested in Manassas on Wednesday after authorities said she shot a family member at her home.

MANASSAS, VA — A woman shot a family member at her home in Manassas on Wednesday night, the Prince William County Police Department said.
The victim, a 66-year-old man, was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Authorities expect him to recover.
The police department identified the woman as 64-year-old Regina Carroll Shull. Shull is charged with aggravated malicious wounding and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

She is being held without bond at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center. Her court date is pending.
If convicted of both charges, Shull could spend the rest of her life in prison, based on Virginia's sentencing guidelines.

The shooting occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday in Manassas. Investigators said Shull and the victim had an argument that escalated.
Shull grabbed a gun and fired one shot, striking the victim, according to the police report. The two family members left the home, where police officers provided first aid to the victim and took Shull into custody.
