Woman Slugged, Threatened By Knife In Manassas: Police

MANASSAS, VA—A man is being held without bond after slugging a woman in the face and then swinging a knife at her early Monday in the 7600 block of Stuart Court, according to Prince William County Police. Omar Armando Lagos, 32, of an unknown address, was charged with attempted malicious wounding and assault and battery.

Around 1 a.m., police responded to the aforementioned address for a reported assault. The woman, 30, said she and the man were at the residence and became involved in an argument that grew heated. After punching her, he allegedly chased her out of the residence with a knife. She suffered minor injuries.
