Zandra's Taqueria Warms Up the Community Supporting Northern Virginia Family Service

Old Town "taco spot" collected a total of 50 sweaters, coats, scarves, blankets, and shoes.

MANASSAS, VA- Zandra’s Taqueria, the casual dining “taco” spot in Old Town Manassas, Va. collected a total of 50 sweaters, coats, scarves, blankets, and shoes for SERVE, the local community shelter of Northern Virginia Family Service, during the Manassas Christmas parade.

Each person who donated an item received a voucher for a free taco from Zandra’s Taqueria.

“We are thankful for those that donated clothing,” said Miguel Pires owner of Zandra’s Taqueria.

“This is the second year for the Warm Up the Community drive and we are glad to pitch in to keep the community warm this holiday season,” said Pires.
