Where Will You Dine During Summer Restaurant Week In McLean And Tysons?

MCLEAN, VA — Metropolitan Washington Summer Restaurant Week returns Monday, Aug. 24, through Sunday, Aug. 30, bringing a week of fixed-price dining specials to restaurants across the region.

Participating restaurants will offer three-course menus for brunch, lunch or dinner. Available meals and prices vary by restaurant, with options among the supplied McLean and Tysons listings ranging from $25 lunches to $65 dinners.

Menus continue to be added, according to the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington. Diners should check with individual restaurants for availability, restrictions and reservations.

Participating McLean And Tysons Restaurants

Here are the McLean and Tysons restaurants included in the supplied Summer Restaurant Week listings:

Agora Tysons: 7911 Westpark Drive, Tysons. The restaurant serves tapas-style Greek, Mediterranean and Turkish dishes inspired by the cuisines of Turkey, Greece and Lebanon. Its restaurant week offerings include $35 brunch, $35 lunch and $65 dinner menus. The entire table must participate, and substitutions, sharing and splitting are not allowed.

American Prime: 1420 Spring Hill Road, McLean. The independently owned contemporary American steakhouse serves smoked prime rib, dry-aged beef and seafood. It will offer a $25 lunch menu and a $65 dinner menu. Outdoor dining is available.

Big Buns McLean: 1330 Chain Bridge Road, McLean. Big Buns specializes in burgers, burger bowls, chicken sandwiches and shakes. The restaurant offers outdoor dining and optional wine or cocktail pairings. Big Buns McLean will offer a $25 lunch menu during Restaurant Week.

Circa At The Boro: 1675 Silver Hill Drive, Tysons. The American bistro features seasonal dishes, an extensive beverage list and a patio. Restaurant Week options include a $35 lunch menu and dinner menus priced at $55 and $65.

Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar: 1960A Chain Bridge Road, McLean. Located near Tysons Galleria and The Ritz-Carlton, the steakhouse serves prime steaks along with seafood and vegetarian dishes. Fleming's will offer a $55 dinner menu during restaurant week.

Founding Farmers — Tysons: 1800 Tysons Blvd. at Galleria Drive, McLean. The farmer-owned restaurant emphasizes food prepared from scratch with ingredients obtained from sources the restaurant says it trusts. Founding Farmers will offer two restaurant week menus: $35 lunch and $40 dinner.

J. Gilbert's — Wood Fired Steaks & Seafood: 6930 Old Dominion Drive, McLean. The restaurant serves prime-aged beef cooked over a mesquite wood-fired grill, seafood, crab cakes and other steakhouse dishes. The restaurant week lunch and brunch offerings will not be available Sunday. J. Gilberts will over two restaurant week menus: $35 lunch an $55 dinner.

Joon 8045 Leesburg Pike, Suite 120, Tysons. The modern Persian restaurant is led by executive chef and co-owner Najmieh Batmanglij. Its menu draws on Iranian culinary traditions and includes fire-kissed kebabs, saffron, herbs and seasonal ingredients. During restaurant week, Joon will offer three menus: $35 brunch, $25 lunch and $65 dinner.

Matchbox McLean: 1340 Chain Bridge Road, McLean. The American restaurant is known for wood-fired pizzas, mini burgers, salads and entrees such as pan-seared sea bass and oven-roasted filet mignon. It will offer a $25 lunch menu and a $40 dinner menu. Outdoor dining and optional drink pairings are available.

North Italia Tysons: 1651 Boro Place, McLean. The Italian restaurant offers scratch-made dishes, pizzas, wine, beer and house-made cocktails. Its restaurant week offerings include $25 brunch, $25 lunch and $40 dinner menus.

Ometeo: 1640 Capital One Drive, Tysons. The Capital One Center restaurant serves Tex-Mex cuisine and offers indoor and outdoor dining for brunch, lunch and dinner. Optional wine or cocktail pairings are available. During Restaurant Week, Ometeo will offer four specially priced menus: $35 brunch. $35 lunch, $40 dinner and $55 dinner.

Wildfire — Tysons Galleria: 2001 International Drive, McLean. The steakhouse will offer a $35 lunch menu and a $55 dinner menu during Restaurant Week.
