2 Alexandria Bank Robberies Lead To Charges For MD Man

ALEXANDRIA, VA — A man has been charged for two separate bank robberies in Alexandria, according to Alexandria Police.

Jaquan Royal, 27, of Prince George’s County, Maryland has been charged with two counts of bank robbery. The charges relate to a March 23 bank robbery in the 3500 block of Mount Vernon Avenue and April 3 bank robbery in the 400 block of John Carlyle Street.

Both bank robberies caused no injuries, according to police.

Royal is being detained in jail in another locality.
