2 People Killed In Alexandria Shooting Identified: Police

Alexandria Police have a suspect in custody on unrelated charges for Saturday's shooting.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Two people who were killed in an Alexandria shooting Saturday have been identified by police.

The victims were identified as Adrian Dejesus Rivera Guzman, 48 and Juan Carlos Anaya Hernandez, 24. A suspect is in custody on unrelated charges, Alexandria Police say.

Police had received a call about a residential burglary in the 100 block of Century Drive around 7:28 a.m. Saturday and shots fired call in the 200 block of Century Drive. Police say two people were shot, with one dying on scene and the other being pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police have not publicly identified the suspect at this time.
