Alexandria's Sidewalk Sale To Steep Discounts At 38+ Stores In August

ALEXANDRIA, VA — It's almost time to stroll the streets of Old Town Alexandria in search of deals at locally-owned boutiques. The 15th annual Summer Sidewalk Sale will return on Saturday, Aug. 10.

The returning Sidewalk Sale is held by Visit Alexandria with Old Town Business and the City of Alexandria. Dozens of stores will offer steep discounts on summer merchandise, ranging from women’s fashion and consignment to fair-trade goods, artwork, plants, home décor and more. New Sidewalk Sale participants include Galactic Panther Art Gallery, Look Again Resale Shop, Indus Imports, Madame Coco Emporium & Everything Chocolate, Pippin Toy Co., The Genius Genus, The BEST Gift Shop and Zen Press Juice.

In between stores, check out the Old Town Pop-Up Art Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 101 N. Union Street for products from Fiscus Glassworks, Bashford & Pitt, CalmConnectWell, Alexandra Schmeling Fine Art, Papazian Design and The Pink Reef. In Del Ray, shop the Del Ray Vintage & Flea Market at 1804 and 1900 Mount Vernon Avenue from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Shoppers can find a map of participating during the week of the sale at AlexandriaSidewalkSale.com, by QR code on posters at participating stores, or in print at the Alexandria Visitor Center, 221 King Street. Visitors going to Old Town are encouraged to use parking garages.
