21-Year-Old Alexandria Man Charged In Fatal DC Shooting
A 21-year-old from Alexandria has been charged in the fatal shooting of a Washington, DC, man Wednesday evening.
MANASSAS, VA – An Alexandria man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Northwest Washington, DC.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, Jeremiah Greene, 21, of Alexandria, is charged with first-degree murder while armed in the death of Bobby Lee Cannon, 35, of Southeast, DC.
MPD says officers arrived at the scene of a shooting on Wednesday at about 7:58 p.m. on the 2500 block of 41st Street, NW. They say they found Cannon on the scene, suffering from a gunshot wound. Cannon was pronounced dead at the scene.

Greene was arrested at the scene. MPD investigators allege that Greene and Cannon knew each other and the shooting might have been part of a domestic dispute.
