3 Evaluated After Crash In Alexandria

Firefighters rescued two people trapped after the crash.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—Firefighters rescued people from a two-vehicle crash in Alexandria Thursday.

The crash happened on Van Dorn Street near Stevenson Avenue, the IAFF Local 2141 firefighters union tweeted at 11:11 a.m. Crews extricated two trapped people, and three people were evaluated by medics on the scene.

It was unclear what caused the crash. No other details were immediately available.
