3-Year-Old Killed By Car Ran Into Street: Alexandria Police
Alexandria Police said neighbors took a 3-year-old boy to the hospital after he was struck by a car.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—Police have released more details about the fatal car crash involving a 3-year-old boy Saturday, Sept. 23.
Around 4:40 p.m., police responded to the accident in the 3400 block of Executive Avenue. The driver, a 32-year-old man, was driving south on Executive Avenue when he hit the boy that ran into the street, investigations show.
Neighbors took the child to the hospital, where he died of his injuries. The name of the victim is being withheld.

The driver stayed on scene to cooperate with police. Authorities have not indicated charges against the driver.
