5 People Displaced After Alexandria Fire
Multiple fire departments responded to the fire on North Henry Street.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—Two adults and three children were displaced after a fire at their home Wednesday night, according to the Alexandria Fire Department.
The fire was reported at a rowhouse in the 900 block of North Henry Street around 7 p.m. Units quickly located the fire in the second level bedroom and contained it. There were no injuries.
Fire investigators determined the cause of the blaze was an unattended candle. Damages are estimated to be $35,000. The Red Cross is helping the displaced residents.

The Arlington and Fairfax County fire departments assisted with the response. Police closed down surrounding streets temporarily as firefighters tackled the fire.
