Alexandria Businesses to Give One Mom a Free Makeover

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Moms are known for putting their kids first, and Mother's Day is a chance for kids to give back. This year, families can enter a deserving mother to win a complete dental transformation to celebrate Mother's Day in Old Town Alexandria.

The winner will receive a complimentary complete dental makeover at Old Town Smiles as well as a trip to a salon, a massage, flowers, a dinner out and photos.

To enter mothers, family members or friends, send a submission to info@oldtownsmiles.com of why they deserve a makeover and why they are special to you. With the submission, include a photo of their smile and relevant dental information. Submissions are due May 16, and a winner will be selected by the office staff June 1.

Old Town Smiles is partnering with community businesses to capture the winner's transformation. Sponsors include Windsor of Old Town Salon and Spa, Alexandria Myotherapy, Enchanted Florist, Landini Brothers Restaurant and A.W. Davis Photography.

Old Town Smiles' dentists, Drs. Seema Ahmed and Kim Kitchen are passionate about giving back to the community and looking forward to the giveaway. The office has done the makeovers for individuals nominated by staff, patients and local organizations for over 10 years.

"This is the first time that we are reaching out to the public, to look for that special person that is in need of a complete dental makeover, Kitchen wrote to Patch in an email. "This is life changing for these individuals."
