Alexandria Driver Killed In 2-Vehicle Crash In Lorton
A two-vehicle crash in Lorton resulted in the death of an Alexandria driver Wednesday night.
LORTON, VA — An Alexandria driver died in a Lorton crash Wednesday, according to Fairfax County Police.
The two-vehicle crash happened around 8:59 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Ox Road and Blu Steel Way for a two-vehicle crash. According to police, a 2013 Toyota Camry attempting to turn left onto southbound Ox Road turned in front of a 2008 Volkswagen Golf and crashed.
The driver of the Toyota Camry was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead. She was identified as Ruth Feth, 76, of Alexandria.

This was Fairfax County's 15th non-pedestrian crash fatality in 2022. Crash Reconstruction Unit are investigating the crash. Detectives do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash but are looking into whether speed is a crash.
