Alexandria Film Festival Announces This Year's Dates, Call for Entries

The 10th annual festival will showcase independent films from around the world.

The Alexandria Film Festival announced Monday that this year's festival will take place on the weekend of Veterans Day (Nov. 11), running from Thursday, Nov. 10, through Sunday, Nov. 13.

The four-day festival will bring high-quality short and feature-length films, documentaries, filmmaker panels and arts presentations to the city. Submissions to the festival will be open on WithoutABox.com from April 4 to July 15.

The festival is celebrating 10 years of showcasing independent films from around the world, offering an enriching cinematic opportunity for filmmakers and film lovers alike. It provides numerous opportunities for audiences to ask questions and interact with filmmakers.

On April 20, the Alexandria Film Festival will participate in the annual Spring2Action fundraiser for Alexandria charities and nonprofits. Help celebrate the 10th anniversary festival with a donation. Every tax-deductible dollar helps to cover the festival's expenses.
