Alexandria Man Charged For Fatal Shooting In Woodbridge
The man shot another person during an argument, according to Prince William County Police.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—An Alexandria man was charged in a fatal shooting Sunday, March 3 in Woodbridge.
Prince William County Police responded to the shooting around 12:39 a.m. at Rippon Boulevard and Jefferson Davis Highway. Investigations revealed the victim and suspect had an argument in a nearby parking lot. When the argument escalated, the victim was shot. The suspect fled on foot while uninvolved people provided aid to the victim.
The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body and received CPR from officers on the scene. The victim was taken to the hospital, where died of his injuries that morning.

The victim was identified as Daniel James Gilliam, 25, of Woodbridge.
Police received a suspect description from witnesses and located him in the area. Markus Sean-Thurman Dean, 23, of Alexandria, was charged with aggravated malicious wounding. He was charged before the victim died, so police expect additional charges. He is being held without bond.
