Alexandria Man Electrocuted, Killed While Painting Building
BREAKING: Police said the Alexandria man was painting a building when electrocuted by a power line.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA—Police say an Alexandria man died Wednesday afternoon by electrocution at a Huntington apartment building.
Police tell Patch the victim had been hired to paint an apartment building in the 2800 block of Fairhaven Avenue in Fairfax County. He was moving a ladder to the back of the building when he came in contact with a high-voltage power line.
Ervin Marenco Andasol, 36, was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His family has been notified.

The incident appears to be accidental, but police investigations have not yet confirmed. Police have not identified the company he works for, or the apartment building. Patch will update this story as more information becomes available.
