Alexandria Man Scores $150K Win In Powerball
The Alexandria man plays Powerball when the jackpot gets high. His instinct paid off when he matched most of the Powerball numbers.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—Anthony Wills of Alexandria tends to play Powerball when the jackpot prize gets large. His instinct was right when he bought a ticket for the April 27 drawing, when the jackpot reached $166 million. While he didn't win the top prize, he scored $150,000.
Wills won by matching four of the first five numbers and the Powerball number. The winning numbers were 2-29-41-45-62 and the Powerball number was 6. He used random computer-generated numbers on his ticket.
"I was shocked when I saw the numbers," he told Virginia Lottery officials. "I never thought something like this could happen to me!"

Wills, who works in information technology, does not have any immediate plans for his winnings.
